Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards

I've only used regular Tarot cards for all of my life - the famous Waite Ryder cards and most notably the astrologically based ones by Liz Greene called The Mythic Tarot. They're excellent cards, but the Tarot in general can be quite depressing really. So I decided last year to buy myself more positive cards!

I'm quite drawn to the fairies, so bought The Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.  I absolutely love them!  Just so you know, I have absolutely no affiliation with Doreen Virtue or Hay House and receive no compensation for reviewing these cards. I just love them and want to share the joy!

Doreen Virtue talked about how she used to use regular Tarot cards but she always took the scary or negative cards out of the deck, and just did readings with the more positive cards, and it always worked out perfectly.

This deck has 44 cards and is delightful, and yet extremely insightful and accurate. I use it almost everyday to gain insight into a specific situation, or simply to see what messages the Fairies have for me that day. They were published in 2008 and are my favourite of the 4 decks of hers that I have. The little booklet that comes with it says that because Fairies are so close to the earth, they offer practical guidance in all areas of life, and know how to work with the Earth's energies in safe, loving and magical ways.

Be sure to clear your cards before you use them, and she describes how to do that.  You can just knock on the cards 3 times, or simply hold your hand over the deck and visualize white light flowing through them and clearing them. I think the artwork is quite beautiful, and I always feel uplifted by the cards and their messages.

My 2nd favourite deck of Doreen's is the Magical Unicorns Oracle Cards

The artwork on these cards is absolutely stunning!  It's like a little storybook page on each card. Published in 2005, there are 44 cards and are just as positive, uplifting, insightful and accurate as the Fairy Cards. I typically use these most days as well. As written in the little booklet, the Unicorns are angelic helpers who want to assist us in living happier and healthier lives. By working with these cards, our lives can become more magical. This is true I found, as they really do affect how I think.
